Junya Kenzaki (剣崎 純也, Kensaki Junya) is a minor character in Battle Royale.
Backstory[]
Junya was a pop idol that Kaori Minami adored and a member of the band Flip Side. Junya was apparently the member of the band who was most popular with the girls. Kaori had a pendant of Junya.
In the Program[]
When Kaori's mental state began diminishing, she hallucinated the pendant as talking to her.
Etymology[]
- The name Junya means "pure, clean" (純) (jun) and "also" (也) (ya)
- Junya's surname Kenazki means "sword, blade" (剣) (ken) and "cape, spit" (崎) (saki)
