Kiyoshi Minamoto (皆本 清, Minamoto Kiyoshi) is a minor character in Battle Royale II: Requiem.

Backstory[]

Kiyoshi was a local boy who was good-natured and shy. He was athletic, but didn't do well in academics.

Before the Program[]

During the Program[]

When Yosuke Miyadai fell over dead, Kiyoshi shouted his name in fear, and everyone else began to panic. After Asuka Motomura was shot in the eye, Kiyoshi freaked out, threw his weapon down and jumped off his boat. Unfortunately he violated the proximity rules by getting more than 50 meters away from his partner Shiho Matsuki, and this caused his collar to explode, killing him. It is unknown what happened to his body afterwards.

Etymology[]

  • The name Kiyoshi means "pure" (清)
  • Kiyoshi's surname Minamoto means "everyone" (皆) (mina) and "source, origin" (本) (moto)

References[]

  1. While Riki Takeuchi announced his position as the 32nd, it has been proven that his announcement might not be entirely reflecting the real situation. In fact, Kiyoshi Minamoto was killed before Yuka Mifune, and not the other way around as the announcement suggested. Therefore, instead of the 32nd, his actual position should be the 33rd.
