Backstory

Ryuhei was very arrogant but he had been extremely grateful to Kazuo Kiriyama ever since he pulled some strings to stop his younger brother from being arrested by the cops. Ryhuei tried to pick a fight with Shogo Kawada only to go crying back to Kazuo Kiriyama, who merely did nothing. He used to be bullied by Mitsuru Numai.
Friends and EnemiesEdit
Ryuhei was in the Kiriyama Family with Kazuo Kiriyama, Mitsuru Numai, Hiroshi Kuronaga, and Sho Tsukioka. He used to bully Yoshio Akamatsu.
In the ProgramEdit
Kazuo Kiriyama tells Ryuhei, along with the other gang members, to meet him at the Southern tip of the island when they were released from the school. Ryuhei follows the instruction, only to be stabbed by Kiriyama on his arrival. Although Ryuhei's weapon is never explicitly revealed in the novel, it is assumed that he was issued with Kazuo's infamous machine gun, as all of Kazuo's victims up to Ryuhei were stabbed, and afterwards, Kazuo would use the machine gun to murder Mitsuru.
